Frozen Golden Sea Stars with Roe

Golden sea stars with their five arms, spiny orange-gold shell and vivid green roe filling. A true delicacy in coastal Asian cooking, where the roe is steamed and eaten straight from the arm.

The roe has a dense, creamy texture and a rich, faintly briny flavour that seafood lovers seek out. Steam the whole star for a few minutes and serve with a light soy or ginger dip, or add the arms to seafood platters for an unmistakable centrepiece.

Each star is graded for full, well-filled arms.
