Frozen Whole Golden Yellow Croaker

Whole golden yellow croaker with the brilliant gold flanks, silver belly and amber fins that make this fish such a beautiful centrepiece. A favourite across Chinese coastal cooking.

The flesh is fine, sweet and gently flaky, with few small bones. Steam it whole with ginger and spring onion, pan-fry until the skin crisps, or braise it in soy for a deeply savoury main.

Cleaned and frozen whole so the fish keeps its shape, sheen and fresh marine flavour.
